Philippe Meier is an Of counsel within Bonnard Lawson International Law Firm. He is a specialist of subject matters in relation to civil law (in particular family law, inheritance law, family and estate planning, adult protection law, mandates in case of incapacity and living wills), both in national and international contexts. He also works in art law (he is a member of the council and of the executive board of the Alberto Giacometti Foundation, Zurich) and in sports law, as well as more generally in contract law (e.g. IT contracts). By virtue of his academic expertise, he counsels individuals and large companies on complex issues of data protection & privacy laws.

As a Full Professor at the University of Lausanne since 2006, he teaches civil law and data protection & privacy laws. He has published a large number of scientific books and papers, leads many research projects and sits on several academic committees. He is a member of the Swiss Bar Association.
